Micronet SP1106UR, the Cat6A U/UTP bulk cable, provides high frequency bandwidth of 650MHz and enhances the best efficiency to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. With Cat6A characteristics, Micronet SP1106UR improves to reduce the near-end crosstalk noise and high alien crosstalk noise in high frequency. Furthermore, it meets very high performance standard of ANSI/TIA-568-C.2, ISO/IEC 11801 and IEC 61156-5. In addition to that, the CMR(Riser) rated standard prevents the spread of fire from floor to floor and is suitable for floor to floor and vertical shaft applications.

Aren’t wires and cables already fire resistant?
Many cables are tested to such flammability standards as UL 1581 vertical flame test (VW‐1). VW‐1 is a basic test of the flame resistance of a wire or cable. A flame is applied five times to a vertical‐hanging wire for 15 seconds each. After each flame application, the wire must extinguish within 60 seconds. In addition, neither a flag near the top of the cable nor the cotton batten below the cable can be ignited during the test. Notice the test is to see if the cable self‐ extinguishes after the flame is removed.
But what if the flame isn’t removed? Plastics burn and melt in a fire. LSZH cables will also burn. The important thing is that they don’t emit heavy smoke or toxins.

Q :
What is the different between Cat6 600MHZ and Cat6a 600MHZ cable?
For the Cat6 and Cat6A have different standard as example below,
Cat6 IL(Insertion Loss) <=54.49 dB/100 m on 600MH test
Cat6a IL(Insertion Loss) <=50.05 dB/100 m on 600MH test
So the Cat6A has the higher value then Cat6 on the standard.
When the Cat6 is characterized to 600MHZ sweep frequency test is not mean it can work as Cat6A.
It allowing 10GBASE-T to be run for the same 100 meter distance but not warranty for the performance.
